STATEMENT

My process derives from emotion.

I absorb environments, the people in them, their emotions and mannerism.

Within my figurative work and portraiture, I am conveying feelings and relationships, the unspoken body language of a person.

Being observant of people, nature, changing seasons of life and World, are important elements to me.

My work often has an amount of negative space, I leave space for the imagination, minimising any distractions, both visually and emotionally.

I like to play with shadow and light, creating depth and feel.
